Sydnee Walker is a storyteller, connector, and former collegiate athlete who’s turning ideas into impact. A University of Oregon grad with a double major in Journalism and PR, she’s worked across MLB, NBA, NHL, and NCAA at Turner Sports. She is also the Founder and CEO, The Collaborative, a platform bringing together emerging journalists and industry pros in sports and entertainment - online, in person, and always with purpose.
“We’re focused on connecting seasoned veterans in the Sports & Entertainment Industry with aspiring Journalists and PR Professionals via virtual and in person fireside chats.
We help bridge the educational gap between what you learn in school and actually get hands on experience. We have monthly virtual sessions with seasoned veterans. Previous guests include: NBC’s Maria Taylor, ESPN’s Marcus Spears, Ryan Clark and Laura Rutledge to MLB HOFer, John Smoltz and 58+ other Media Executives, Athletes, Broadcasters and more.
